About:

The Boys was written as part of Kiln Theatre’s Listen Local Program and was performed at various Sketch spaces around London in 2022. The story follows Saif, his best friend a South Asian Drag queen on a night out to Hungama (Queer Alternativer Bollywood Experience) for his birthday.

The play touches on Queer erotocism, questions how South Asian Gay Men deal with cultural and religious trauma and the concept of love.
