Corn Ribs

Ingredients:

  • X2 Corn on the cob

  • Salt

  • Smoked Paprika

  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • Tandoori Masala

  • Garlic Powder

  • Lemon

How To:

  1. Remove the Corn leaves ( Unless you have the ones already removed).

  1. Wash the Corn.

  2. Cut the Corn.

  3. In a Bowl add and mix the following : Oil, Smoked Paprika, Garlic Powder, Lemon Juice, Tandoori Masala, and salt ( adjust the amount accordingly, I usually put about 1 1/2 tsp as I like mine spicy and sometimes put more garlic powder).  Leave for at least 2/3 hours. Cover the bowl with some clingfilm if need to.

  4. Into a baking tray: add the corn and coat with the the wet mix above ( make sure to line your baking tray with baking paper or oil)

  5. Pop it in the oven at 180 C for about 10/15 mins or until slightly charred and not cooked (adjust the temperature if need to).

  6. Take out the oven and let it cool.

  7. And Enjoy! I usually like to add the Ribs to a salad bowl: Some olives , feta, peppers, Kale, Broccoli, Artichokes, Sun-dried Tomatoes and a complimentary vinaigrette.
